(a) to (c): Yes, Sir. There is a proposal to connect Hajira Port to its Hinterland. The project is proposed to be implemented through a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV). The construction will be taken up on completion of the project development, agreement of strategic partners in financial participation and sanction of the project.
There is at present no proposal to connect Bedi and Porbandar ports by rail line as traffic generated is not considered adequate to provide rail linkages.
