(a) whether the Government is implementing the Coastal Security Scheme
in various phases in the country;
(b) if so, the details thereof alongwith the target fixed and the
achievement made so far under the scheme;
(c) the details of proposals received from the State Governments of
coastal areas and the assistance provided under the scheme during each
of the last three years and the current year, State-wise;
(d) whether the Government proposes to review the said scheme in
order to make it more effective and remove deficiencies reported, if
any, in the implementation of the first phase of the scheme; and
(e) if so, the details thereof?
