(a) whether the Government proposes to set up rooftop solar grids across the country, especially in Rajasthan and Maharashtra;
(b) if so, the details thereof and the time by which they are likely to be set up, State/UT-wise; and
(c) if not, the reasons therefor?

(a) to (c) The Government has set a target of installing 40,000 MW of grid connected rooftop solar capacity in the country including in the states of Rajasthan and Maharashtra by year 2022.
The State-wise tentative targets are given in the Annexure.
