Answer given by the minister

MINISTER OF STATE IN THE MINISTRY OF URBAN DEVELOPMENT ( SHRI BANDARU DATTATREYA )

(a)&(b): The maintenance of parks in R.K. Puram and Sarojini Nagar have been affected due to lack of unfiltered water supply in this area. Over the years, sub soil water level has gone very low which is affecting the growth of vegetation in the parks. Wherever water supply is available for hoticultural work, the maintenance and upkeep of the park, the turf and the hedges have been satisfactory.

(c)&(d): There has been no negligence on the part of CPWD officials for maintenance of the parks and in view thereof no action is called for against any official.
