(a) the number of functional/non-functional sugar mills in each State/U.T
. under his Ministry at present;
(b) whether the Government are contemplating to privatise such sugar mills of the country which are lying closed; and
(c) if so, the details thereof?

(b) So far as the Central Government is concerned, there is no such
proposal.
