Question : STOPPAGE OF TRAINS

(a) whether the Government has received any proposal for providing stoppage of train No. 22815-22816 at Ongole Railway Station in the State of Andhra Pradesh;

(b) if so, the details thereof;

(c) whether the Government has taken any decision on such requests;

(d) if so, the details thereof and if not, the reasons therefor; and

(e) the status of the proposal at present?

(a) to (e) Representation, including that from the Hon’ble Member of Parliament, has been received regarding stoppage of 22815/22816 Bilaspur– Ernakulam Express at Ongole. The same has been examined but not found commercially justified, at present.
