(a) whether the Government has taken any steps/proposes to take any steps to provide rail facility between Gondia and Dongargarh during 10 am to 4 pm for pilgrims visiting the famous Bamleshwari Mata temple situated in a highly inaccessible place in Dongargarh in the State of Madhya Pradesh; and
(b) if so, the details thereof?

(a) & (b) At present, 16 Pairs of Mail/Express and 6 Pairs of Passenger/MEMU services are providing adequate connectivity on the Gondia-Dongargarh sector, which includes 7 Mail/Express and 1 Passenger service leaving Gondia for Dongargarh between 10.00 hrs and 16.00 hrs. Moreover, to clear extra rush of passengers & facilitate pilgrims, Indian Railways, subject to operational feasibility and availability of resources, also operates special trains.
