(a) whether the Government has any proposal to reduce the project preparation period from
18 months to 8 months and streamline the various processes and approvals involved in
National Highway projects;
(b) if so, the details thereof;
(c) whether the Government is considering to initiate a system of rating and grading of
construction companies involved in road and other infrastructure development projects; and
(d) if so, the details thereof?
