(a) whether the employment opportunities have been created in the tourism sector with international cooperation;
(b) if so, the details thereof; and

(a) to (b): As part of International co-operation in tourism, the Ministry of Tourism engages in various consultations and negotiations with other countries for signing of Agreements/Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for bilateral/multilateral cooperation in the field of tourism.
Employment generation in tourism sector is function of various factors including creation of a conducive environment and opportunities for movement of people across countries which are facilitated through international cooperation.
(c): The Ministry of Tourism has not commissioned any study to assess the number of employment opportunities likely to be created with international cooperation.
