Question : FILLING UP OF VACANT POSTS

to the reply given to Unstarred Question No.2984 dated 20.12.99 and state:

(a) the number of vacancies out of 244 vacancies in Grade-I of DASS cadre under the Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi have been filled up;

(b) if no vacancy has been filled up, the reasons therefor; and

(c) the steps being taken to fill up these vacancies?

(a)to(c): Out of 244 vacancies in Grade-I DASS as on 20th December, 1999, 226 posts were filled up during the year 2000. The remaining vacancies could not be filled up to provide for sealed cover cases and for officers poster on deputation basis.
