(a) whether the automatic ticket vending machines have been installed at railway stations to ease the burden of queuing up for railway tickets at rush hours;
(b) if so, the number of automatic vending machines set up so far, zone-wise; and
(c) the mechanism in place to keep these machines operational?

(a) & (b) : Yes, Madam. So far, automatic vending machines (ATVMs) have been set up at 2884 locations. Zone-wise details are as under:
