Question : Road Projects in Madhya Pradesh

(a) whether any new projects on National Highway-AB road in Madhya Pradesh is under consideration and if so, the details thereof;
(b) whether any new road routes have been approved in Khargone- Barwani and Betul-Harda-Harsud Parliamentary Constituencies of Madhya Pradesh;
(c) if so, the details thereof;
(d) the scheme of the Government for road projects in aspirational districts;
(e) whether any new proposal has been approved for the said districts and if so, the details thereof; and
(f) the details of the approved road projects in aspirational districts of Madhya Pradesh?

(a) Following new projects have been envisaged on Agra-Bombay Road:

Flyover at MR-10 Junction, VUP at Ralamandal & Arjun Baroda (Indore-Dewas Section 3.61 Bidding stage.
Flyover at Rau Circle (Indore-Dewas Section) 1.22 Project awarded.
Realignment of Bakaner Ghat (Indore-Khalghat Section) 8.87 DPR stage.

(b) & (c) Following new major projects have been planned in Khargone-Barwani parliamentary constituency:

Following new major projects have been approved in Betul-Harda-Harsud parliamentary constituency:

In addition, for Vadodara-Khandwa-Betul economic corridor which passes through Chota Udepuur-Alirajpur-Badwani-Julawania-Khargone-Deshgaon-Khandwa-Ashapur (Harsud) – Betul, preparation of Detailed Project Report (DPR) has been initiated.
(d) to (f) Five projects comprising length of 273 km with cost of Rs. 2,177 crore are in construction stage and nine projects comprising length of 493 km with cost of Rs. 3,791 crore are sanctioned/in bidding stage.
