(a) whether any scheme to provide employment to unemployed ITI diploma holders under the Make in India programme is under consideration of the Government;
(b) if so, the details thereof;
(c) whether there is any scheme to provide training at low cost to children using the services of the unemployed youth; and
(d) if so, the details thereof?
(a) to (b) Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship is organizing Job fairs at different geographical locations across the country to facilitate unemployed ITI Certificate holders to acquire jobs. Subjects like “Employability Skills” have been included in the course curricula of Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) to make them more employable.
(c) to (d) Presently, there is no scheme to provide training at low cost to children using the services of the unemployed youth.
