Question : Implementation of JJM

(a) whether the Government has reviewed the implementation of Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM) in various States and if so, the details thereof;

(b) whether the Government has set any target for achieving the goals;

(c) if so, the details thereof; and

(d) the details of the fund released to the State of Kerala and the amount utilized so far?

(a) to (c) Government of India, in partnership with State Governments, is implementing Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM)-Har Ghar Jal to enable every rural household in the country to have assured potable water through Functional Household Tap Connection (FHTC) by 2024.
To ensure the successful implementation, Government of India has been regularly reviewing the implementation with respective State governments. Regularreview meetings including conferences and workshops through video conferences are held as well asfield visits taken upwherein States are advised to plan and expedite the implementation to achieve the goal in a time-bound manner.
As reported by States/ UTs, as of date, out of 19.18 Crore rural households in the country, 6.55 Crore (34.20%)are having potable tap water supply.
(d) Under JJM, allocation, fund drawn by the Kerala State and reported utilization of Central grant is as under:
