Question : DIRECT FLIGHT BETWEEN INDIA AND CANADA

(a) whether there is no direct flight between India and Canada;

(b) if so, whether Canadian airline has shown its interest in starting the direct flight from Canada to Delhi;

(c) if so, the details thereof;

(d) whether any negotiation is being held in this regard; and

(e) if so, the time by which the flights are likely to be started?

(a): At present there are no direct flights between India and Canada.

(b), (c), (d) and (e): The designated airlines of Canada already enjoy traffic rights for operations to Delhi. However, no schedules have been filed by any Canadian carrier for operation to Delhi.
