Will the Minister of HEALTH AND FAMILY WELFARE be pleased to state:
(a) whether the Supreme Court appointed oversight committee headed by RM Lodha formed to oversee the functioning of the MCI has given clearance to several private medical colleges;
(b) if so, the reaction of the Government thereto; and
(c) the details of colleges who got such clearance?

(a) to (c) The Supreme Court mandated Oversight Committee (OC) on MCI approved following schemes/ proposals of the applicant medical colleges for the year 2016-17 with certain conditions:
