(a) the salient features of the Companies (Donations to National Funds) Act, 1951 under which a company can contribute as donation;

(b) the details of National Funds recognized for the purpose of donations under the Act;

(c) the nature of contributions the Government receives under the Act; and

(d) the details of the companies which have contributed under the Act during each of the last three years and the current year, fund-wise?

(a) to (d):- Companies (Donations to National Funds) Act, 1951 empowers a company to make donations to the Gandhi National Memorial Fund or the Sardar Vallabhbhai National Memorial Fund, or to any other Fund established for a charitable purpose, which by reason of its national importance has been approved by the Central Government. However, this Ministry does not maintain the data with regard to contributions made by the companies.
