Question : INFRASTRUCTURE PROJECTS



(a) whether the Government is giving major thrust to development of infrastructure in the States including Andhra Pradesh and improving connectivity and cooperation with neighbouring States;

(b) if so, the details thereof; and

(c) the projects which are in pipeline in this regard, State-wise including Andhra Pradesh?

(a) : Yes Madam. The Government is giving major thrust to the development of infrastructure in all the States including Andhra Pradesh.

(b) : Infrastructure projects are developed in different sectors by various Ministries and State Governments. However, the Central Government is providing a grant of Viability Gap Fund (VGF) for Public-Private Partnership (PPP) projects in infrastructure. The following projects sponsored by the Government of Andhra Pradesh have been sanctioned by the Central Government for VGF assistance.


4- Laning of Hyderabad-Karimnagar-Ramagundam Road (SH-I) 1350 4- Laning of Puthalapattu - Naidupet Road (SH-61) 529 4- Laning of Narketpally - Addanki - Medarametla Road (SH-2) 1194 Major Bridge at river Godavari 511 e
(c) : Projects sponsored by different State Governments and sanctioned by the Central Government for VGF are indicated below:
