(a) whether the Government has banned the processing of certain items including tendu leaves;
(b) if so, the reasons therefor;
(c) whether the Government proposes to provide free market for such produce; and
(d) if so, the details thereof and the reasons therefor?

(a): The Government in the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises has not banned the processing
of tendu leaves.
(b): Does not arise.
(c) & (d): The State Governments undertake the planning required for promotion of local livelihood
based on non-timber forest produce collection / trade, etc, which also includes tendu leaves.
