(a) the details of bridges on various national Highways constructed in the State of Manipur during the last three years;
(b) the number of bridges proposed to be constructed during the years 1999-2000 and 2000-2001 in the State;
(c) the details of the funds allocated for the purpose; and
(d) the measures taken/to be taken by the Government in this regard?

(a) No bridge has been constructed (completed) during last 3 years on National Highways in the State of Manipur.
(b) Annual Plan 1999-2000 provides for construction of one minor bridge. The Annual Plan 2000-2001 is yet to be finalised.
(c) Allocation of Rs. 90.00 lakh has been made for the construction of the bridges on National Highways during 1999-2000.
(d) Required funds are being allotted for the development of National Highways including bridges.
