(a) & (b) Grant-in-aid is released to States/UTs under the PYKKA scheme to develop and
maintenance of basic sports infrastructure in village/block panchayats. State-wise sanction
and release of grants under the scheme for the last two years (2008-09 and 2009-10) and upto
30th June of current financial year (2010-11) is given in a Statement(Annexure – I).
State-wise details of number of playfields developed and number of playfields under the
process of development is given in a statement at Annexure-II.
