(a) whether the Ministry of Railways has received any proposal
from the Ministry of Shipping, Road Transport and Highways for
construction of over bridge at Maksi railway crossing on Agra-
Mumbai National Highway No.3, situated on Ujjain-Bhopal rail
line under Western Railway Division, Ratlam;
(b) if so, the details thereof; and
(c) the action taken by the Ministry thereon?

(a) to (c): No, Sir . No proposal has been received from
Ministry of Shipping, Road Transport & Highways. However,
National Highway Authority (NH Circle), Indore has proposed Road
Over Bridge on Build, Operate & Transfer (BOT) concept at this
location to the Zonal Railway. General Arrangement Drawing for it
had already been approved by Railway in Nov.2001 but thereafter
no progress has been made by Road Authority.
