In addition to provision of Cranes and Ambulances by this Ministry, the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare also provides assistance to the States/UTs under the scheme of ‘Assistance for Capacity Building’ for upgradation of emergency services/trauma care facilities in Hospitals including those located near the National Highways for the purpose of treatment of accident victims.
