(a) whether the Government is currently giving Kisan Samman Pension of six thousand rupees to 14 crore farmers;
(b) if so, the date on which the said scheme was introduced;
(c) the total amount given so far under the said scheme;
(d) the number of beneficiaries under Kisan Samman Pension Yojana, State-wise; and
(e) the norms fixed for including names in the said scheme along with the details thereof?

(a) to (c): The PM-KIsan SAmman Nidhi Scheme is being implemented since 01-12-2018 with a view to provide income support to all eligible landholder farmers’ families of the country, irrespective of the size of their land holding, subject to certain exclusions relating to higher income strata. Under the Scheme, benefit is provided to the eligible beneficiary to the tune of Rs.6000/- per year, payable in three 4-monthly instalments of Rs.2000/- each. The payment is made online directly into the bank accounts of the eligible beneficiaries under Direct Benefit Transfer mode. Total amount of Rs. 50,984,83,70,000/- has been released to beneficiaries till 26.02.2020. Also, this is an income support scheme, it is not a pension scheme.
(d): Statement of details of beneficiaries registered in PM-KISAN portal as on date State- wise, is at Annexure –I.
(e): It is the responsibility of the concerned States/UTs Government to identify the eligible farmer families and to upload their correct details on the web Portal www.pmkisan.gov.in for transferring benefits into the bank account of beneficiaries through DBT.
Farmers have been given option to register themselves online in the Portal. Further, Common Service Centers have also been authorized to enroll the eligible beneficiaries under the Scheme.
