(a) to (b): The central vision of the 11th Plan is to build on strengths to trigger a development process which ensures broad-based improvement in the quality of life of people, especially the poor, Scheduled Castes (SCs)/ Scheduled Tribes (STs), other backward castes, differently abled and women. This broad vision includes several inter-related components such as rapid growth that reduces poverty and creates employment opportunities, access to essential services in health and education especially for the poor, equality of opportunity, empowerment through education and skill development, employment opportunities, environmental sustainability and good governance.

(c): Statements showing State-wise funds sanctioned/released and spent under Swarna Jayanti Shahari Rozgar Yojana (SJSRY) and Basic Services to the Urban Poor (BSUP) and Integrated Housing and Slum Development Programme (IHSDP) components under the Jawaharlal Nehru National Urban Renewal Mission (JNNURM) implemented by the Ministry of Housing & Urban Poverty Alleviation are at Annexure-I & II respectively.
