(a) whether it is a fact that rate of economic development of eastern Uttar
Pradesh has heavily gone down after the implementation of economic
reform process;
(b) if so, whether the Union Government have any proposal to create
`Poorvanchal` State;
(c) whether the Government also propose to provide it a Special status to
make up the losses as a result of economic liberalization; and
(d) if so, the details thereof?
