(a) whether the Government propose to give a boost to the helicopter services under the New Civil Aviation Policy;
(b) if so, the details thereof;
(c) whether the Government have consulted user industries in formulating new guidelines to use the helicopters; and

(a), (b), (c) and (d): Yes, Sir. The Civil Aviation Policy
under formulation envisages a fresh look at the policy
framework for helicopter operations, and issue of suitable
guidelines in this regard. The draft policy has been widely
circulated for views/comments before finalisation.
