Question : Kendriya Vidyalayas in Telangana

(a) the total number and locations of Kendriya Vidyalayas in Telangana along with teaching staff, non-teaching staff and students in Kendriya Vidyalayas across the State of Telangana;
(b) the total number and details of Kendriya Vidyalayas in Telangana that operate from rented buildings and premises;
(c) the details of Kendriya Vidyalayas in Telangana that have been identified as having inadequate infrastructure and/or teaching facilities; and
(d) the details of proposals pending for the upgradation of infrastructure and teaching facilities in Kendriya Vidyalayas in Telangana?

(a) At present, 35 Kendriya Vidyalayas (KVs) are functioning in the State of Telangana. KV wise details of number of Teaching, Non-teaching staffs and students enrolled in KVs across the State of Telangana are annexed.
(b) to (d) All the 35 KVs in the State of Telangana are functional in the permanent building constructed by the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan or building provided by the proposing authority. These KVs are having adequate infrastructure and teaching facilities.
