Question : ON-GOING PROJECTS IN RAJASTHAN

(a) the details of the on-going and proposed Railway projects in Rajasthan alongwith the cost involved therein;

(a) the progress made and the amount spent on each of the project so far; and

(b) the time by which these projects are likely to be completed ?

(a) to (c): Details of ongoing Railway projects in Rajasthan along with their cost, expenditure incurred and the progress made are at Appendix-I. Target dates of completion, wherever fixed, have also been indicated in the status of the projects.

Details of surveys being carried out for projects in Rajasthan is at Appendix II.

Work will be taken up once the land becomes available.
2 Ajmer- WR 67.00 0.00 New work included in the Budget Pushker 2000-01. Final location survey is being taken up. Land acquisition plans and papers are under preparation.
3 Ramganjmandi- WR 425.00 0.00 New work included in the Budget Bhopal 2000-01.Estimate for Final Location Survey has been sanctioned. Final location survey is being taken up. Gauge Conversion
4 Bhildi- NR 185.00 4.35 Works is being progressed as per Samdri availability of resources.
5 Phulera- NR 45.66 0.85 The work from Phulera-Jodhpur has Jodhpur- been completed and commissioned. Pipar Road - The rest of section from Pipar Road Bilara to Bilara has been sanctioned as a Material Modification. Due to low operational priority and very light traffic on Pipar Road-Bilara section, work is temporarily pended and will be progressed as per availability of resources.
6 Luni-Marwar NR 111.13 110.14 The work has been completed. & Jodhpur- Financial adjustments are being Luni made.The residual work of block proving with axle counters is in progress and will be completed in 2001-02.
7 Luni-Barmer- NR 240.00 36.41 Earthwork between Luni-Samdari (50 Munabao km) has been completed and is in progress between Samdhari and Barmer. 61 minor bridges out of 104 have also been completed and 3 out of 9 major bridges also completed. Ballast collection is in progress. 2.1 lakh cum out of 6.25 lakh cum ballast has been received.
8 Rewari- NR 197.76 0.00 The work will be taken up after the Sadulpur necessary clearances have been obtained.
9 Sriganganagar NR 68.71 0.00 The work will be taken up after the -Sarupsar necessary clearances have been obtained.
10 Agra- WR 169.30 4.51 Earthwork and bridges are in Bandikui progress. 42 minor bridgesout of 193 nos, substructure of 4 major bridges out of 9nos. have been completed and 1.3 lacs cum earthwork out of 3.07 lac cum has been completed.The work is being progressed as per availability of resources.
11 Ajmer- WR 445.38 9.97 The work is in progress between Udaipur- Udaipur and Chittaurgarh in first Chittaurgarh phase.3.65 lac cu.m. of Earthwork has been completed out of 17.41 lac cum,substructure of 72 minor bridges have been completed and other 15 bredges out of the total 204 minor bridges is in progress. Out of total of 8 major bridges,one has been completed in all respect and substructure of 4 more bridges have been completed. The work is being progressed as per availability of resources.
12 Phulera- WR 668.15 616.15 Work has been completed and Marwar- commissioned. Residual works are in Ahmedabad progress. Doubling
