(a) whether the Housing and Urban Development Corporation Ltd. (HUDCO) provides home loans to the needy persons;
(b) is so, the criteria for granting home loans;
(c) whether this loan facility is also available to the residents of the resettlement colonies;
(d) if not, the reasons therefor;
(e) whether the Government proposes to extend the home loan facility to the residents of resettlement colonies; and
(f) if so, the details thereof?

(b)&(c): Housing loan under Hudco Niwas Scheme are granted to
an individual mainly on the basis of repaying capacity of loanee
and other factors such as income, age, qualifications, number of
dependents, spouse`s income, assets, liabilities , stability and
continuity of occupation and savings history.
(d)to(f): Not applicable in view of the above.
