(a) whether Indian and Japan has formed a joint venture for manufacturing plan for super critical
pressure boilers and turbine generators with financial support from the Japan Bank for International Cooperation;
(b) if so, the details thereof, and
(c) the time by which it is likely to be operational?

(a): No Madam. Department of Heavy Industry has not formed any joint venture as referred to. Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited, a company under the administrative control of this Department has also not formed any such joint venture.
