Question : Construction of Bypass on NH-66

(a) the present status of the construction of new bypass on NH-66 in Attingal, Kerala;

(b) whether 3-A notification has been issued for Kazhakkuttam - Kadambattukonam stretch of NH-66 in which Attingal bypass is proposed and if so, the details thereof; and

(c) the steps taken by the Government for acquisition of land and completing the project without further delay?

(a) to (c) The Attingal Bypass is included in the project package 4/6 laning of Kadambattukonam to Kazhakuttom section of NH -66. 3A notification under NH Act has been notified in January, 2020. However, further land acquisition proceedings has been stayed by Hon’ble High Court.
