(a) whether Air India Management grounded a pilot who
pointed out defects in three of the four wheels of the
aircraft and refused to fly the aircraft pleading
passengers` safety;
(b) if so, the fact of the matter;
(c) whether the Directorate General of Civil Aviation has
prescribed that aircraft tyres should be in good condition
especially during monsoon season;
(d) if so, whether the tyres were inspected in the presence
of an official from DGCA before taking any action against
the Pilot;
(e) if so, the details thereof; and
(f) if not, the reasons therefor?
