(a) whether the Railways have received any proposals for
starting passenger trains from Dongargarh instead of Durg;
(b) if so, the details thereof;
(c) whether the Railways propose to create facilities of
maintenance of passenger trains at Dongargarh;
(d) if so, the details thereof; and
(e) the steps taken by the Railways in this regard?

(a) & (b) Yes, Madam. Representations have been received for starting local
trains from Dongargarh instead of Durg.
(c) to (e) Based on current traffic plan and requirements, coaching maintenance
facilities for passenger trains at Dongargarh is operationally not required for
the present.
