Question : Appointment of Vice Chancellors

(a) whether the appointment of Vice Chancellors to many Central Universities are
held up in the Ministry, if so, the details thereof along with the reasons of delay in
appointments; and
(b) whether it is a fact that the Government has given instructions to the NCERT to
prepare guidelines for transformation in assessment by 2022 and if so, the details
thereof along with the reasons therefor?
