(a) to (c): Thiruvanathapuram Railway station is one of the 19 stations identified for development as World Class station. Planning for modernization has been processed. Details of the modernization to be provided as part of the World Class station are planned to be worked out through a consultancy for which action has already been initiated. Modernization is planned to be done through Public Private Partnership. In all such cases, Railway would be providing the land and air space for commercial exploitation. Time by which the proposed modernization work is likely to be completed has yet not been decided.
