(a) whether it is a fact that the Supreme Court of India has allowed to grant renewal of all catering units to the firm/company/co-operative society/ individuals irrespective of their catering licence against the provision given in Catering Policy, 2017; and
(b) if so, the details thereof and the steps taken to implement the said order?

(a) and (b): Hon’ble Supreme Court of India vide its order dated 30.10.2018, in Writ Petition No. 373 of 2017 and related matters, has given directions regarding renewal of certain minor static catering units on Indian Railways. The said orders of Hon’ble Supreme Court are being further processed.
