Question : ABSORPTION OF DEPUTATIONISTS



(a) Whether under Controller General of Accounts (CAG) in various Ministries Group ‘C’ and Group ‘D’ posts have been filled on deputation basis;

(b) if so, the details of such posts filled in various Ministries under CGA, particularly in Ministry of Industry during the last five years;

(c) whether CGA has asked the various Ministries to absorb these deputationists against the vacant posts of Group ‘C’ and Group ‘D’ in their Annual Direct Recruitment Plan;

(d) if so, the reasons for issuing such directions/requests so late as the Ministries have already completed their aforesaid plan till 2006-07 through their Screening Committee;

(e) whether the parent offices of these deputationists have already conveyed their NOC for their absorption under CGA in various Ministries; and

(f) if so, the steps taken by the Government to absorb such deputationists under CGA as they have acquired the professional competence required for account job?

(a) Some Group ‘C’ posts in the offices of Pr. CCAs/CCAs/CAs in various Ministries under Controller General of Accounts,(CGA) have already been filled up on deputation basis.No Gr.‘D’ post has been filled up on deputation basis.

(b) Some vacancies in Group ‘C’ posts of Accountants (Pay scale Rs. 4500-7000) and LDCs (Pay Scale Rs. 3050-4590) have already been filled up by taking officials on deputation basis in a number of Ministries during the last five years. The position of posts filled up on deputation basis in the office of Chief Controller of Accounts (CCA), Ministry of Industry is as follows: Gr. ‘C’ posts
