(a) whether the Government has given any permission to the private universities to run agriculture courses like food processing technology, B.Sc agriculture, etc. in Gujarat by ICAR;
(b) if so, the details of these universities and the rules for the permission; and
(c) if not, the details of the action taken by ICAR?

(a) to (c): Agriculture including Agricultural Education is a State subject, accordingly permission for opening Agricultural Colleges/Universities and running courses therein comes under the purview of respective State Government.
Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) undertakes only accreditation of Courses/ Colleges/ Universities related to agriculture stream as per prescribed guidelines.
No private University is running courses in Agriculture, food processing technology has been accredited by ICAR in the state of Gujarat till date.
