Will the Minister of AYURVEDA,YOGA AND NATUROPATHY, UNANI, SIDDHA AND HOMOEOPATHY (AYUSH) be pleased to state:
(a) whether the Government has given approval to any Ayurvedic Covid-19 Vaccine in the country;
(b) if so, the details thereof, vaccine-wise;
(c) if not, the reasons therefor; and
(d) the details of the Government agencies involved in the development of the vaccine?

(a) & (b): Ministry of AYUSH in the Central Government has not given approval to any Ayurvedic Covid-19 Vaccine.
(c) & (d): It is not legally permitted nor feasible under the provisions of Drugs & Cosmetics Act, 1940 and Rules thereunder to manufacture Ayurvedic medicines for parenteral route administration. Accordingly, no Government agency under the purview of Ministry of AYUSH is involved in the development of Ayurvedic vaccine.
