(a) whether it has come to the notice of the Government about the delay in
reimbursement of medical claim to the pensioners from CGHS; and
(b) if so, the details thereof and the reasons therefor alongwith the measures
taken by the Government for early settlement of claims?

(a) & (b) There is no prescribed time limit for settlement of medical reimbursement bills
in CGHS. However, medical reimbursement bills are normally settled within 2 to 3 months
subject to availability of funds and completion of other codal formalities.
