(a) & (b)Government has seen reports that the Taliban and Al Qaeda are keen to acquire nuclear weapons or nuclear
materials. Government hopes that Pakistan Government will continue to take steps for securing its nuclear assets.
(c) Government continues to monitor all developments related to Pakistan’s nuclear programme and is committed
to taking all necessary steps to safeguard India’ security.
