(a) the details of the various schemes being run by the Government to promote social security;
(b) the State-wise and scheme-wise details of the total number of persons benefited from the various schemes being run by the Union Government for social security along with the funds allocated and released to States in this regard during the last three years and the current year;
(c) whether any scheme is proposed for social security in the coming financial year; and
(d) if so, the details thereof?

(a) to (e). Social security schemes are implemented by the Ministries of Rural Development, Labour & Employment, Health and Family Welfare and Department of Financial Services of the Ministry of Finance. The major schemes are as follows:
(i) National Social Assistance Programme (NSAP), of the Ministry of Rural Development, is for the poor and aims at ensuring minimum national standard for social assistance in addition to the benefits that States are currently providing or might provide in future. NSAP comprises of Indira Gandhi National Old Age Pension Scheme, Indira Gandhi Widow Pension Scheme, Indira Gandhi National Disability Pension Scheme, National Family Benefit Scheme and Annapurna. The details of funds release during last three years are given at Annexure-I.
(ii). Rashtriya Swasthya Bima Yojana (RSBY) is implemented by Ministry of Health & Family Welfare in 19 States. The details of funds released are given at Annexure-II.
(iii) Employees'' State Insurance Scheme is implemented by the Ministry of Labour and Employment. The scheme is financed out of the contribution from employees and employers (Employer share 4.75% and Employee''s share 1.75%).
(iv) Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana (PMJJBY), and Pradhan Mantri Suraksha BimaYojana (PMBSY) are implemented by the Ministry of Finance, Department of Financial Services, which offers a renewable one year life cover and one year personal accidental death-cum-disability cover to subscribing bank account holders respectively.
(v) Atal Pension Yojana (APY) is implemented by the Ministry of Finance, Department of Financial Resources. Under the APY, the subscribers would receive the guaranteed minimum pension of Rs. 1000 per month or Rs. 2000 per month or Rs. 3000 per month or Rs. 4000 per month or Rs. 5000 per month, at the age of 60 years, depending on their contributions, which itself would be based on the age of joining the APY.
(vi). NIRMAYA: The National Trust for Welfare of Persons with Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Mental Retardation and Multiple Disabilities, implement the scheme which provides health insurance cover up to Rs. 1 Lakh to provide medical treatment to eligible persons.
