(a) whether the Government has initiated any programme to include the real stories of
people who laid down their lives in the freedom struggle of the country in the school
and University curriculum for future generations of the country,
(b) if so, the details thereof and if not the reasons therefor; and
(c) whether any such programmes/scheme is proposed in the near future and if so, the
details thereof?

(a) to (c) The National Council of Educational Research and Training(NCERT)
has given appropriate space to freedom fighters who participated in the freedom
struggle of India in its textbooks of Social Sciences and History from the upper
primary to the senior secondary stages. In these textbooks, there are several references
to stories of the heroic freedom fighters who were part of the freedom struggle of
India.
