(a) whether the Railways propose to bring transparency in selling the scrap;
(b) whether any pilot project is bring commissioned by the Indian Railways in this regard;
(c) if so, the details thereof; and
(d) the steps taken by the Railways to keep the mafia out of the trade of scrap?

Railways.
(b) : No, Sir.
(c) : Does not arise.
(d) : The measures to check and prevent the influence of mafia in the area of disposal of
scrap has already been implemented over Indian Railways.
