(a) the details and number of silk parks in the country, State-wise including Chhattisgarh;
(b) whether the Government proposes to set up more silk parks in the country;
(c) if so, the details thereof; state-wise and
(d) the time by which these parks are likely to be set up?

(a): Till date, only two silk parks have been approved under Scheme for Integrated Textile Park (SITP) by the Government which are at various stages of implementation. No proposal for setting up silk park in the state of Chhattisgarh has been received in the Ministry so far. The details of two silk parks are as under:-

(b) to (d): The Scheme for Integrated Textile Park is a demand driven scheme and parks are sanctioned as and when proposal are received. No proposal for setting up silk park is pending in the Ministry of Textiles, Government of India.
