(a) whether the Government has any proposal to create separate cadre for medical services like Indian Administrative Services (IAS) and Indian Police Services (IPS) etc.;
(b) if so, the details thereof;
(c) whether the Government has consulted the States and other stakeholders in this regard; and
(d) if so, the details thereof?

(a) to (d): The Ministry has not proposed for creation of Indian Medical Service. However, two representative; one from Joint Action Council of Service doctors’ Associated dated 14th June, 2014 and another from Shri. Jivabhai Ambalal Patel, Ex-MP dated 24th April, 2014 have been received through Department of Personnel and Training. The views of stakeholders, including State Governments are must for consideration of such proposals
