Question : LOI TO SPACE TV LTD. FOR DTH

to reply given to Unstarred Question No.3276 dated 19.08.2004 and state:

(a) Whether DTH application of Space T.V. Ltd., have been processed and Letter of Intent (LoI) issued;

(b) if not, the reasons therefor; and

(c) whether the Government would associate high level experts to examine grant of LoIs to parties who fulfil all norms as per the guidelines of the Government: and

(d) if not, the reasons therefor?

(a) and (b): The application of M/s Space T.V. Ltd. is currently under examination in this Ministry.

(c) and (d):There is no proposal to involve outside experts and in examining the applications for LoIs.
