Question : Medical Devices Bill

Will the Minister of HEALTH AND FAMILY WELFARE be pleased to state:

(a) whether Government proposes to bring forward Medical Devices (Safety Effectiveness and Innovations) Bill, 2019 to create a national register of medical devices;

(b) if so, the details thereof;

(c) the details of various provisions made in the Bill;

(d) whether the said Bill has been vetted by all the State Governments; and

(e) if so, the time by which the said Bill is likely to be introduced/enacted?
