(a) : The Ministry of Minority Affairs implements the Pradhan Mantri Jan Vikas Karyakram (PMJVK) in 1300 identified Minority Concentration Areas (MCAs) of the Country, with the objective to develop socio-economic assets and basic amenities. In the State of Andhra Pradesh, Ministry of Minority Affairs implements PMJVK in 19 MCAs which includes 07-Blocks and 12-Towns. Since 2019-20, a total number of 67 projects with a total cost of Rs. 290.76 crore having central share of Rs. 174.45 crore has been sanctioned for the State of Andhra Pradesh under PMJVK. The projects include 06-Residential Schools, 01-Degree College, 03-Polytechnics, 04-ITIs, 04 Hunar Hubs, 04 School Buildings, 02-Working Women Hostels, 17-Hostels, 09-Common Service Centers, 05 Additional Classrooms and 12-Toilets.
(b) The details of break-up of the funds sanctioned there-under and the kind of projects sanctioned, district-wise since 2019-20 is given at Annexure.
